Your Gallery Is Amazing. I'm Particularly Interested In How You Are Finding The 7D As Your Recent Bird Shots With It Are Fantastic. I Have The 1D MKIII But The 7D Is Really Tempting Me I Just Wondered How The Noise Is At Higher ISO And Also What The New AF System Functions Like. :)

Dear Andrew,

let me say: don't change your MKIII body for a 7D.

Let me explain: I choosed a 7D cause I also have a 5d MKII camera and I need same charger and same battery for travel and compatibility (less weight, only one battery type for both etc.).

I owned a Canon 1d MKII N. I tought I find the canon 7D af system much more better than the 1d MKII N. It has about 30 possible customization. It's amazing, fast and accurate.

I think you have one of the best camera at high iso performance, but It isn't what I need. I need a camera with fast af, large file and a good response from 100 to 1600iso. Also I'm not disposed to give Canon around 3600$ for a 1D series (will be MKIV I think); 7D is what I'm looking for.

I'm only waiting they give me the BG-E7 cause it's almost impossibile at the moment shoot vertical without it and big lens.

No It's My 50D I Was Thinking Of Changing As I Find It To Noisy Above ISO 400.
And I Was Hoping The 7D Would Have Better Noise Control And Also Hoped
The AF Would Be Faster And More Reliable Than That Of The 1D MKII

I Would Go For A 1D MKIV If It Comes Along At The Right Price But For Now
The 7D Would Be My Second Body. :)
